[Plugin: Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] How to configure the permalinks

I’m sorry to be asking such a basic question, but I cannot get my head around what this plugin expects on the permalinks configuration. I’ve read that “It **must** reflect your permalinks’ structure”. But what exactly does that mean? My posts follow a /%year%/%month%/%day%/%postname%/ format, but if I paste that into the plugin’s configuration, it doesn’t work. If I try /manage-subscriptions, it doesn’t work. Using these settings produces links that lead me to 404 or 500 errors.

How do I get past this initial stumbling block?
