[Plugin: Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Create "Subscribe Without Commenting" widget

@ovidiu Yes, it’s of no use in sidebar but it’s worth it when shown just above/blow comment form.

Regarding your suggestion, I think putting a ‘check box’ below comment form will only confuse the reader i.e to write a comment and submit or submit by just entering the emaill address.

ah, sorry I might not have described it very accurately. what I meant is that I’d like a link, not a checkbox underneath the comment form, right next to the checkbox for subscribing to comments by email that will subscribe the user without him having to comment.

I have never checked the code given above but I think that is what I am looking for…

Ovidiu, I was confused because the link is already there, when you install Subscribe to Comments Reloaded. Please review the tab “Other messages” for further details and to customize the look and feel of that link ??

I was reviewing a few plugins that offer this functionality liek the original subscribe to coments, gurkend version and some others trying to figure out which one to use…

then I found this thread and misunderstood. I thought the user wanted this in the widget because it is not there by default ??
