[Plugin: Subscribe to Comments] Help! Pluggin doesn’t show up.

  • Hi everyone,

    If anyone is reading, I’m wondering if you can help me out.

    I downloaded the “Subscribe to Comments” Plugging. I uploaded it to my server using the FTP transfer. It is in the right file…(WP-CONTENT, Pluggin)
    But, when I log into my blog, and try to activate the plugin, I do not see it anywhere.

    Am I totally missing something? What did I do wrong?

  • Have you uploaded the folder/directory, or just the subscribe-to-comments.php file? It looks as though this particular one wants just the file, whereas most plugins are the complete folder/directory.

    I have the very same problem. I have ONLY uploaded the file, not directory. I have reinstalled several times but it still doesn′t show.

    Searching online I have come across mention of “comments form hook” and “hooks” that should be in the template possibly affecting this problem but nothing I read clearly states WHERE that hook might be (or not be), how to add it (or take it away, or…?), WHERE to add it, what exactly the hook IS, etc.

    In my plugin panel it shows this plug in as being activated, but it just doesn′t show on my site.

    Anybody have any ideas?
