• Hi there,

I’m working at a client’s theme and I’m using Gutenberg and Coblocks.
It seems after I updated Gutenberg, Coblocks and other plugins styles are overriding the site’s Global Styles.
I think this is a bug. Shouldn’t Global Styles load after plugins?

    Thanks

Hi, @catiakitahara ?? Nice to see you here!

    Could you confirm:

    – If you deactivate the standalone Gutenberg plugin, do your plugin styles load normally?
    – What version of Gutenberg are you running? never mind, just noticed 13.5.1 in the subject
    – What version of WordPress are you running?
    – What theme are you running?
    – Is the issue present with a default theme? Again, you can use the Health Check plugin for this.

    Thanks!

Also, could you provide a link to the site and point me to a specific example of where you’re seeing a plugin’s styles overriding something? Or give me exact steps to replicate? Thanks!

The global style has changed and links are now underlined. This cannot be disabled. Deactivating the Guttenberg plugin fixes the problem. Please fix this.
Gutenberg is truly the best plugin and deserves attention.

Hi @elenatsaruk – thanks for the report. This issue is different than the OP’s. Could you please start a new thread and provide the following information there:

    – Theme name & version
    – Gutenberg version
    – WordPress version
    – Confirm that all other plugins are off
    – Link to your site showing the problem in context

    Thank you very much!
