Plugin stops Google Custom Search from submitting

When this plugin is enabled, my Google Custom Search form won’t submit. Hit enter in the search box and nothing happens.
There are esoteric javascript console errors pointing to Google code. Went on their support forums, they ran some tests, and they pointed to the inclusion of the jquery library from this plugin as being the culprit. They couldn’t provide more details as to why, but the jquery lib was the issue.
Disabled the plugin and the form submitted. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue. Any workarounds known?
