    I had to do a full website restore and now the white list login (ip) stopped working and 404 events are not longer logged. How can I fix this? Do I need to delete and re-install? Please help.

    Hi, try the following. Disable and uninstall the plugin. Then install a fresh copy. Let me know how you go?

    Thank you. I will try that and let you know. Will it remove all the blacklisted ip’s I added as well as well the whitelist?

    I believe it should not remove them. But if you want to be certain, create a copy of all the whitelisted and blacklisted IPs in your lists.

    Hi @dan14,
    When you did the restore, did you also restore your .htaccess file?
    It may be that some of the aiowps firewall and other rules need to written back into that file.
    You can try deactivating and reactivating the aiowps plugin and clicking “Yes” when the alert message is displayed asking whether you want to write the rules to your .htaccess file.

    Thank you very much for your support!

    Deactivating and reactivating and clicking ‘Yes’ fixed almost all the rules, thank you. What I did notice is that the 404 events are still not logged in the 404 detection. Is there anyway to fix that manually? I am using a custom 404 page and it used to work fine until I did that full website restore including the .htacess.
