[Plugin: Stop IE6] grammar
-
Thanks for the plugin and I’m sorry for being pedantic, I also know that I can change the generated page text easily, but the following phrase:
‘You need a modern internet browser for viewing this pages’
should read:
‘You need a modern internet browser for viewing these pages’.
I wonder also if it’s a trifle aggressive to not offer people the possibility of viewing the site whatsoever. With such a dire warning, I guess people might be better prepared for funky floating problems and general IE6 nonsense. Whilst I do agree that IE6 should bloody well hurry up and die, I think not giving people the choice to view the site at all isn’t terribly friendly. Who knows, there may even be a genuine reason they’re using IE6 (although I can’t really think what that might be right now…)
I don’t mean to seem ungrateful for a generously free plugin, and I guess I could just use a less obtrusive plugin, but I like this one – the message sure is clear!
