    Hey all

Just a generic question. After transition to GA4 and the Site Kit Plugin, is this plugin still required to monitor ecommerce?

I simply just wonder who does what, cause it’s hazy to me.

If required, does this plugin work on Multisite?

    Hi @hebhansen,

Just a generic question. After transition to GA4 and the Site Kit Plugin, is this plugin still required to monitor ecommerce?

Yes, the WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin is still relevant, even with the transition to GA4 and the use of the Site Kit Plugin. This plugin allows you to integrate Google Analytics’s eCommerce tracking functionality into your WooCommerce store, providing detailed insights about your customer’s shopping behavior.

The Site Kit Plugin, on the other hand, provides a broad overview of your site’s performance across various Google services, including Analytics, but it doesn’t offer the same level of eCommerce-specific tracking.

does this plugin work on Multisite?

Yes, the WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin does work on a multisite setup, but please note that you’ll need to configure the settings for each site individually.

Additionally, if you’re looking for more advanced analytics and reporting, consider using the WooCommerce Google Analytics Pro. It offers more detailed tracking, including customer behavior, detailed product, and sales analytics, and it fully supports multisite setups.

    Alriright Shameem Thx.

Does the plugin rely on Jetpack in anyway or form? Installed or not. Back in the day, I had constant tracking from Jetpack though it was uninstalled years ago. Please fair warning thx

    Hi @hebhansen,

The WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin operates independently and does not rely on Jetpack in any way. It has its own set of features and functionalities and doesn’t require Jetpack to be installed or active for it to function properly.

As such, you shouldn’t experience any tracking related issues due to Jetpack, especially if it has been uninstalled from your site for years.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
