• When I install SplashGate, the ‘Make Page Splashable’ widget is available when editing any page.

Under Settings, SplashGate allows me to set the splashable page with a radio button. However, I do not see any of the other options described nor do I actually get a splash page when I visit my test site. I only noticed that I should have one by looking at the screenshot in the /splashgate directory of the management page.

My installation is not in the root www of my site if that makes a difference.

Could it be a problem with my theme? Do I have to manually edit any of the files to activate?

    Same.

I found a solution. A plugin called simplesplash. Works like a charm!

By default, for some reason the other necessary parts of the plugin are set to not show on screen. Just turn them on underneath the Screen Options near the top of the screen.

SplashGate is causing conflicts with several plugins and functionalities with the Pagelines Frameworks system. Notably: it is duplicating the navigation buttons for the Feature Slider and it is causing some of the shortcodes to stop working. Also, it seems to be loading the page twice into the fancybox overlay. Unfortunately, I cannot use it. If you fix it, please let me know. This seems to be related to the most recent version of wordpress, because I did not have any of these issues until i upgraded WP.

    I have the same problem.
