[Plugin: Special Recent Posts] Tumbnails don't update if image in article is replaced

I did some test articles developing a site, but when i inserted the right content and change the image in post, the thumbnail in home didn’t update. I used regenerate thumbnails but this didn’t resolve. No cache plugins are installed.

Se vado in un articolo già pubblicato e rimpiazzo l’immagine con una nuova, la thumbnail del widget Special Recent Posts non viene aggiornata.
Ho fatto anche più di un tentativo con il plugin “Regenerate Thumbnails” ma non è cambiato nulla. Non ho installato alcun plugin che gestisce la cache.

Come posso risolvere?
