  • Hi, guys. Unfortunately, I can’t acces my site, my ftp can’t connect, I can’t get to the dashboard through the usual manner and my cpanel decided it won’t listen to my commands anymore so I’m stranded.

do you have a hosted website? I had to access my plugin area through the hosting company in order to delete the plug in first. Once I had it deleted I was able to access my dashboard the regular way through my wordpress login screen and re-install. Hope this helps.

I do have a hosted website, a friend of mine hosts my site. I tried disabling them all from cpanel, but nothing happened. Then I tried connecting through the ftp, and couldn’t do that so.. that’s all I know how to do. I’m not very skilled and I’m stuck now.

I actually deleted it from my site all together and didn’t try to disable or deactivate which worked then I was able to re-install it. Have you tried deleting instead of disabling?

If that doesn’t work I would suggest contacting your friend who’s hosting the account and they should be able to help you.

Hi, I just got that idea while going through my file manager and suddenly thought: why not just delete it, it can’t do more harm ?? And boom! It’s solved, everything is great now ?? I can’t believe I was so wrapped up in trying to disable it and didn’t see what was in front of me ?? Probably a girl obsession thing. Thx for the ideas and hope all your websites are working just fine now!
    Have a good one!

AWESOME!!!! lol, i get the girl thing. I re-installed the new version..no problems whatsoever! So everything’s good with me thanks for asking!
