[Plugin: Social] Oxygen theme not compatible?

When I use Social’s comment display (NOT disabled under advanced settings), all comments and comment forms disappear completely from my blog.
When I disable Social’s comment display, the comments show up again, but without the Social options.
Trying different theme (twenty ten) looks like the comments come back, at least in the theme preview.

And the checkbox is:
Disable Social’s comment display (use standard theme output instead).
