[Plugin: Social Metrics] Server Load

  • Hello,

    Very useful plugin.

    What’s the server load with this plugin? Is it pulling data even when you do not display the page with the data?

    I ask this as I note the page that display’s all the metrics loads quite slowly.

    Also, is the ability to filter by number available? I note that one can’t display a list of say Tweets by order of most retweeted? Or is this a pro option?

    Likewise the ability to untick social networks is greyed out, is this also a pro only option?

    Dave,
    Social Metrics does not load any scripts on your posts/pages. Its active only when you access the Social Metrics Dashboard in WordPress admin area. It wont pull any data unless you open the Social Metrics Dashboard.

    Please check the PHP memory limit set on your server. If the limit is low, you might see issues in loading the page. In this case, you can either increase the PHP memory limit or reduce the number of posts to display at a time from the Social Metrics settings page.
