[Plugin: Social Media Mashup] Feature Request: Ability to display more than 5 updates

  • I’m really enjoying this new plugin. I’ve used it to replace the WordPress Lifestream plugin which has been causing me some issues as of late due to some of its incompatibility with the theme I am using.

    I would like to request the ability to display more than five items in the list. For me a max of say 25 items would be great, but it may be more beneficial to simply allow an end user to display a specified number of days.

    For instance I can choose to display one days worth, seven days worth or even more if I want.

  • Hi jsox,

    You can customize the number of items displayed in the list any time the list is displayed. In the widget, it’s an option in the widget options panel; in the shortcode, it’s a parameter ([social-media-mashup count="5"]) and in the template tag, it’s a parameter (social_media_mashup(5);). There is no maximum number of items you can display other than the number of items that exist in the RSS feeds.
