Hello, thank you foe the fix Rodolfo.

Is there any way to use my own facebook and twitter apps instead of Social Proxy -MailChimp apps?

Alex, the beta 3.0 broke my site (WP 3.2.1). Error I got:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in <PATH>functions.php on line 1526

    This is what I did:
I went to my profiles–>expanded FB and selected my FB page and hit the update button.

    My blog is https://blog.nrajesh.com

@nrajesh There has to be something we’re missing. We have tried to reproduce this issue and are unsuccessful. Can you provide us with some more information that my assist us in reproducing this issue?

    – Do you have any accounts authorized on Social’s settings page? If so, how many?
    – How many accounts do you have authorized on your personal profile page?
    – When you say you expanded Facebook pages, are you expanding the “Manage Pages” link on the account listing, or the “Show Pages” link on the default accounts block?
    – How many pages are you adding to your account?
    – If you’re adding pages to your default account(s), how many pages are you adding?

Anything else you can think of that might be useful for us to reproduce this bug will be helpful.

    Regards,
    Andrew

    nrajesh,

Can you please do a Git clone of this repository: https://github.com/crowdfavorite/wp-social-debug

Then please activate this plugin, click the link in the admin notice that is created, and email the page contents to [email protected].

    Regards,
    Andrew

Since we can not reproduce this issue locally, are you willing to provide us with SSH access to your server to take a look? If not, we will be releasing the next version of Social with this as a known bug.

    Regards,
    Andrew

    Hi,
I will wait for the next version.

    Thanks,
    Rajesh

    I have the same issue:
“Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/*******/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1526”

    WordPress v. 3.2.1
    Social v. 2.0

I also have the same issue. Here’s what i did:

    1. I register a new user (default to contributor) on my blog.
    2. Went to profile page to update my password.
    3. Next at the My Social Accounts section, i login with Facebook.
    4. After that i check my facebook account under My Default Accounts.
    5. Hit Update Profile and was given the error: “Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/domain/public_html/_projects/site1/dev/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1526”

    WordPress 3.2.1
    Social 2.0

If anyone that is experiencing this error will let us log in and debug on your server, we might have a chance of fixing this. We have been unable to reproduce it in any of our environments.

I’ve got Social working for both Twitter and Facebook, but it’s not picking up anything from FB posts … even when I can see friends of mine have posted the link to a blog post on FB.

Any idea how I can troubleshoot this? Thanks!
