[Plugin: Social Bookmarks] remove bookmark us buttons in newsletter

I use the Social Bookmarks plugin. I just realised after staring to make a theme for Mailpress newsletter that the bookmark buttons also show up in the newsltter. I guess because the bookmark are loaded together with the main content. Any ideas how I can hide or remove the bookmarks from the newsletter?
