[Plugin: Sociable] The latest version does not save changes

… did anyone run tests before releasing this? Or did you just roll something out which people like myself mindlessly upgraded to under the impression it would work?

Ok, the update message in WP now says it’s sociable v4.2.9. Does that work? Is there anyone authoritative paying attention? This is a pretty simple problem. Should be fairly simple to fix. It would be a shame to loose a good chuck of your user base over something so simple. Does 4.2.9 fix the problem discussed in this thread? If so, please let us know TODAY. If this isn’t resolved by 6pm pacific time tonight I’m removing this plugin from all of my WP installations and will go with another solution.

Maybe this issue is solved.. but it is still a pain in the but.

Each and every site I have updated from 4.2.6 to 4.2.9 has lost its settings and needed to be reconfigured.
Which is especially troublesome since the pages where “disable sociable” has been clicked have to be visited again one by one and the option has to be enabled.

All in all updating this plugin takes more time to update then doing a version update of WordPress …

Also the weird “invisible link” is still there as seen on the picture posted by @dimitry Lund https://i47.tinypic.com/awlqq.jpg
