[Plugin: Sociable] Link redirects

I was comparing two versions of the sociable plugin.

I saw that one implemented URLs this way:

https://digg.com/submit?phase=2&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wagerweb.com%2F&title=WagerWeb&bodytext=WagerWeb

And the newer version:

Isn’t the older way safer? It seems to be more user friendly and more
easy for search engines to crawl… Xenu Link Sleuth and other link validators I ran don’t like it like this..
