[Plugin: Sociable] Hide (or remove) excerpts

Due to my lack of knowledge, I misplaced “meta tags” by “excerpts”; in order to have an answer to my question, I’m posting this same question again replacing “excerpts” for “meta tags”. for those looking for removing the excerpt, this worked for me
line #451 comment out like this. This is in the sociable.php file in your plugins on the server.
add_filter( ‘the_excerpt’, ‘auto_sociable’ );
to
//add_filter( ‘the_excerpt’, ‘auto_sociable’ );
