• Hi, I’m sorry if I’m repeating an old question, I really did try and look through as much of the forum as I could before posting this.

    I installed sociable and it showed up fine in my blog entry. When I went into the admin to change the settings, once I click “save changes” the page goes to the “Error 404” page. Once I check back at my settings, the changes have not been made.

    Info:
    I’m using pretty permalink: /%postname%/
    I’m using a different blog URL from my wordpress installation URL.

    (I don’t know if this makes any difference, but the .HTACCESS file in my ‘www/wordpress/’ only shows the following:

    []#BEGIN WordPress[][]# END WordPress []

    (Note: [] = that square character that pops up when the computer doesn’t recognize the character, i.e., japanese kanji if you don’t have it installed)

    I tried to make changes to the .HTACCESS file and I wasn’t allowed. I also can’t change the permission for it (currently 644, with an Owner/Group value of 99 99). Couldn’t change it from my domain’s cpanel either.)

    </BegForHelp>
