• I’m sad =( I installed sociable and it doesn’t show up at the bottom of my posts at all…zip, zero, zilch, nada, nothing.

    I didn’t do anything special at all. Just installed it, activated it and chose the sites I wanted to display.

    Any ideas? Please?

    Thanks!

  • Hi

    There is a setting on the plugin’s settings page that turns off plugin’s automatic display of the output. First, make sure the automatic display is turned on.

    If it’s on and it still doesn’t work, try turning it off. The plugin instructions explain how to paste a line of code into your theme template files to cause the plugin output to display exactly where you want it on the page. The automatic display setting should be off when using this method. See if that approach works.

    Hmmm, I don’t see the automatic display setting. I see the “tagline” “position” “use CSS” and “open in new window” options but nothing for automatic display?

    Thanks =)

    Hi

    My memory had slipped. There’s not a single box you uncheck. There is a list of checkboxes in a section called Position. The icons will only appear in positions that are checked. If you already have checks in the places you want them to appear and they are not, uncheck them and try pasting the code into your templates manually.

    If that still doesn’t work consider posting a URL so someone can look into what is going on behind the scenes.

    I had a problem with sociable not displaying under posts and i managed to cure it by checking the “category archives” box in “settings” “position”
    everything is now fine at acerbonsai.com
