[Plugin: Smooth Slider] Space after excerpt

I would like to remove the space between the content excerpt and the … so for example it would look like this:

England’s schools are increasingly divided along class lines, making it harder than ever for the poorest children to succeed, a union…

Instead of this:

England’s schools are increasingly divided along class lines, making it harder than ever for the poorest children to succeed, a union …

Can someone from the Smooth Slider team let me know where in the code I need to remove the space as I’ve spent a decent amount of time looking and have not been able to solve the issue myself.
