[Plugin: Smooth Slider] Plugin doesn't work with updown slider

The plugin shows well on the admin side (preview) but when putting into a page and publish it, the slider shows the messages vertical and they do not slide automatically. Also the updown slider in the sidebar is broken when i activate tis plugin.
Hope there are solutions for this, because i like the previews of showing events from the event manager plugin into this slider.
