• Hello, I have Smooth Slider installed on my site, but I’m having some issues.

I have the border and background colors set to #E8E8E8, to match the color of the sidebar that the widget is placed in, yet, there are dark gray blotches surrounding the image.

    My questions:

    1. How can I get rid of the dark gray color that’s showing up? It doesn’t show up in the preview that I see from within the WordPress Admin module.

    2. Is it possible to center the title of the slider? If so, how?

    3. Is it possible to center the images, so that they’re aligned perfectly between the two arrows?

    Thanks for your help.

Here’s a screen shot of the dark gray color I’m trying to get removed.

This screenshot points out the misaligned widget title.

Here’s a screenshot of what Firebug reveals when I inspect the portion of the screen that contains this widget.

My new challenge, is figuring out which portions of the code I need to modify to correct these issues.

Do you have any suggestions that can point me in the right direction?

I just added the <center> tag to the “Popular Posts” text to get it to show up in the center, from within Firebug.

This is HTML code, so how do I figure out which of the theme files contain this code, so that I can modify it from within WP Admin? I’ve searched through the different files, but I haven’t been able to find this code so I can add the <center> tag.

Here’s a screenshot of what I modified from within Firebug.
