[Plugin: Smooth Gallery Replacement] static image only despite setting to autoplay.

    had smooth gallery replacement working but then reinstalled wordpress and can’t get it functioning again.

    the plugin has successfully replaced the default gallery: the image displays and is adjustable through the plugin’s css but is static and without carousel or description, as though javascript was disabled (its not).

    it is set to autoplay and timer:true in the admin panel and in the .js file respectively.

    removed and reinstalled and redownloaded the plugin.

    i set the gallery to random and a different image displays with each reload.

    disabled scriptaculous in the functions.php just in case.

    anything i missed? thank you.

    FIXED IT.

    i uploaded the site onto a server and it worked fine.

    the javascript is apparently blocked in MAMP if you have the Events Calendar plugin activated? but my server can handle both plugins concurrently. so whooo knows.
