I just upgraded Smooth Slider to the newest version and that has caused it to stop working. I had a bunch of posts assigned to the slider and now in admin it shows that no posts are assigned. I even tried creating a new post and assigning it and it still doesn’t work. All I get on the user side is a link to the Smooth Slider web site https://www.clickonf5.org/smooth-slider

Any ideas? If I don’t find a quick solution I’m going to have to get rid of this plugin and find something else. Any recommendations?

    Thanks

I enabled and then disabled the Enable Multiple Slider Function on Edit Post/Page option and now I get a gray box on the page with no posts in it. I still can’t seem to assign any posts to the slider.

If this happens to you, try deactivating and then reactivating the plugin. That fixed it for me. Also, I went with default.css since it matched what I had before.

p.s. the Support link on the admin page takes you to a forum that is no longer in use. Hopefully the author will update that link to take people to their new forum rather than the old one.

Thanks for sharing your experience. We had notified users about this issue after releasing the upgrade. Thanks for highlighting the issue of forum link on admin page, we will update that in next release.

Thanks. The new plugin is definitely nicer and has more options.
