[Plugin: Slideshow] Image library for slide show incomplete and out of date

    Hi there, I’m having trouble with the slide show plug in. I just downloaded it tonight, yet the image library it wants me to choose from is old and out of date. When I click “add image slide” and the pop up window comes up showing me images to choose from, it shows me about 3 pages worth of images (about 30 or so), 90% of which have long since been deleted from my site, and many doubles. More importantly, I have a total of 307 images on my site, only about a tenth of which are showing up, and none which have been recently uploaded. Can anyone help me access the entirety of my image library as it currently exists on my site?

    Hi Tara,

    The pop-up gets all images from the WordPress media page, if you delete an image there, it should not show up anymore. If you have deleted images by hand (without using the ‘Delete permanently’ option on the WordPress media page), the images will still show up in the pop-up because they are still known to the database.

    If you have uploaded images using other methods than the WordPress media uploader and the images are not visible in the WordPress media page, they will not show up in the plugin.

    How do you usually upload your images?

    Hi Stefan,

    Thanks for the feedback. I just found out about the permanent vs the non-permanent image delete so have ticked the appropriate box now which should take care of the problem of deleted images showing up. As for the images not showing up, I normally upload images by going into the Gallery editor and clicking on “add images”. I think that’s a plug in from memory so perhaps that’s what the problem is?
