[Plugin: Slideshow Gallery Pro] picutres not display in admin

    Hi there

    i have been using Slideshow Gallery Pro for a bit and i really like it.

    i am having a problem with the pictures to display in the admin “Manage slide” menu, i am getting a question mark instead off a preview of the picture however they display correctly in the gallery.

    In addition if i click “yes” on “Show Thumbnails” in the config menu, the pictures display correctly on the gallery but not in the thumbnails , getting question marks, same than the admin menu

    i am using outside links for my pics. i did try to upload pics and i have the same problem , any idea?

    Are you using the most up to date version? I know this was an issue a version or two ago, but I thought I fixed it.

    I would also look at the path that it’s searching for the image:
    /wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery-pro/

    Is that where your pictures are? Is it a path that SHOULD be pulling a picture when double checking it with FTP?

    i believe that i am using the latest version: Version 1.2.03

    it s funny that you mentioned that the earlier version fixed this problem as i believe it did display my pictures in the admin and thumbails as well with the previous versions using the same path: /wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery-pro/.

    yes, this is the path where my pics are.

    So if you take firebug, inspect the element of the broken image – does that point to an image that is actually there? Or is there something along the pathway messed up?

    in the uploads/sgpro/ are the images you’ve uploaded also with a ‘-small’ duplicate? If you put the image pathway directly into your browser does it render the image?

    I deleted the pictures from the admin and erased all pics on my fttp in the slideshow-gallery-pro folder. Then I re-uploaded the pics and it s works now ??

    However the gallery seems to have a bug with Safari that i dont have with firefox or explorer:

    One specific pic does not display on the gallery when i click on the Thumbnail. The pic display in the admin and gallery Thumbnail but does not appear when i click on it, i have a dark screen . So i erased it from the admin and fttp and re added but same problem with safari only. weird. In safari i erased my cache, cookies etc.. still the same problem. All the other pics display when i click on it..

    Yeah, that sounds really really weird…I’ll start checking more of my slideshows in Safari and see if I can replicate the issue. Nothing yet though.
