[Plugin: Slideshow Gallery] js error in IE8 – invalid argument

    The slideshow gallery plugin works perfectly in all browsers but IE.

    in IE6, 7 the slideshow works nicely, but there is no clickable link to the page configured in admin for each slide.

    However in IE8, in addition to the link not working I also get a browser popup error message:

    This is weird as the error doesn’t come up immediately though, the slideshow cycles through a few times first.

    I also get the same with all other WP plugins disabled.

    Any ideas?
