[Plugin: SlideDeck 2 Lite Responsive Content Slider] Automatic Video Play

  • Hello, is there anyway to get videos to start playing automatically?

    I see in Options –> Playback “Autoplay SlideDeck”, but that just makes the slides/videos slide. But I would like the video to actually start playing upon entering my site.

    Also, SlideDeck shows the username and number of days since the video was uploaded to youtube. Is there not a way to remove that as well? Or would you have to purchase premium SlideDeck?

  • At this time there’s no autoplay option for videos in SlideDeck.

    The username and days since uploaded can be turned off in the deck options. Just scroll down to the “Content” section. Turn off the date and the author options.

    Hi Jamie,

    Does the pro version have this option?? Is there no way to edit the files to get this to work? I really like this plugin, but that is the one feature that is missing for me :(.

    The pro version does not have this option yet, but we will be adding it to (all versions I think) soon.
