[Plugin: SlickQuiz] IE vs FireFox : Incorrect operation in IE8

    I just took my five question quiz in IE and got the lowest ranking after answering all five questions correctly. Weird. I can’t even remember the last time I used IE to be honest. I tried it because a friend also got strange results using Internet Explorer. (IE8)

    When the CORRECT answer is selected in IE and check answer is selected the INCORRECT answer text is displayed. Duplicated on two two different PC’s using IE8.

    IE does not appear to understand the code used in the theme or the plugin. Reminds me of the days when as a software producer our beta teams had to test everything in every major browser. I thought we were long past that. Rats.

    Hey @popwireless – this is the 2nd instance of the quiz not working in IE that I’ve come across. I’ve tested my own dev setup in IE and it works fine, I’ve pulled in another user’s quiz data and it worked fine, but when I loaded their quiz on their site the bug was there.

    So it seems like there might an issue with the page structure. Perhaps a broken tag or something. I’ll be spending some time digging into this one between now and Monday – so hopefully I’ll have a fix for you soon!

    @popwireless – I found the problem – the answer inputs where improperly coded with a closing tag and this was freaking out IE.

    P.S. I think I figured out why plugin updates weren’t showing up in WP installs – so you may even see the update in the dashboard this time!

    Right on both counts. IE works and yhe update was there waiting. Now I have to do the-button-fix edits again.
