[Plugin: Skype Online Status] Only ever shows status as "Offline"

If the Skype servers always show https://mystatus.skype.com/graciegail as offline, the plugin will do the same. Nothing I can do about that.

Make sure the Skype privacy settings of your client (not yours!) are set to show status to everyone.

Sometimes, switching the Skype status manually a few times will trigger the server to show the correct status again…

Same problem here at https://blog.chrishutcheson.com. This is a recent development and I haven’t changed any settings from when everything was working. It may be something with Skype itself. as I seem to have the same issue with a Drupal site I run. But, just now, it seems to have kicked back in again….inconsistent for sure!

Chris, right now your status on https://blog.chrishutcheson.com/ is showing as Away so it seems to have changed. In any case, issues with status are almost always due to Skype servers not updating correctly…

This just solved my problem as well. I had my Privacy settings misconfigured.
