[Plugin: SimpleMap Store Locator] Google doesn′t provide API Key

    I have the same question. How do I get an API key?

    @biberbeat try using Google Maps API v2. It seemed to work v3 did not. Click here Learn how to use an APIs Console key.

    @graphicla_force: Thanks a lot. I read this page before my posting but it don′t solve my problem. Using V2 instructions needs to have an api key as well. But behind that link on google′s explanation a return to my starting-page.

    If I need to enter a generated api key then google should have a generator or something like that?

    I′m really confused ??

    I just pushed 2.4.4. There are a ton of updates here as it jumped from 2.2.5. See https://simplemap-plugin.com/changelog for details

    Version 2.4 switched to version 3 of Google’s map API so you won’t need the key any longer.
