• On my STC config screen, I see only these three fields:

    * Consumer key (filled in)
    * Consumer secret (filled in)
    * Twitter default button

    I assume there should be a list of modules like with Simple Facebook Connect but that is not a case. Maybe this plugin is not compatible with 3.3.1? Or am I doing something wrong?

    One thing to note: in the instructions, there is this step: “Use Twitter for login must be checked (enabled).” Where do I enable this? Haven’t found anything like that on dev.twitter.com settings page so maybe that’s the problem?

    “Use Twitter for login” is no longer required, they removed that setting.

    And STC is several separate plugins. Go to the main plugins page and enable them individually.

    Actually Simple Twitter Connect should show checkbox for other child plugins when connected similar to Facebook Simple Connect and Google Simple Connect or at least show some text that indicates user to go to enable another twitter modules in plugins page

    I think it’s not work but no, its work – I have to activate another module in plugins page

    It will good if plugin has green/red icon and text say “Connected”, “Authenticated Successfully / Failed” or something similar to let standard user know now they’re connected or not

    Thanks Otto, I have noticed later that there are separate plugins, I was just confused as I expected similar behavior to SFC (list of checkboxes right on the main plugin page).

    That behavior is new to SFC. SFC used to be just like STC in this respect.

    Thanks Otto! I forgot that STC included multiple plugins that needed to be activated!
