[Plugin: Simple Tags] exclude tag from simple tags widget

hi –

i am using the tag “wide” to call a blog post style with no sidebar. unfortunately this tag shows up in my Simple Tags sidebar widget as the most popular tag.

Is there a way for me to exclude just this one tag from the widget?
