[plugin-simple-tags] Auto Tag not working

I’m having the same issue on both of my wordpress blogs. Both are running the latest WP and simple-tags

Yep, me too. It rolls through all the posts, but doesnt assign any tags.

Me too, its not assigning tags to my posts! Could it be due to the fact that the keywords i’m designating to generate the tags from are hyperlinked in the post?

Me too. It appears to have created the tags, but doesn’t tag the posts.

ive had this problem for months. auto tags just dont work. i think its due to it not working with teh latest version of wordpress. i hope the author or some other bright spark makes a fix.

I am having the same problem, even though the plugin states that it works with wordpress 2.8 AND the Javascript tagging bug was fixed I am STILL receiving the status under the “click tags” section as:

This feature works only with activated JavaScript. Activate it in your Web browser so you can!

I hope the auther fixes this as my editor is legally blind (he can see, just not as well as you and I and has to use SUPER magnification and HUGE monitors) This part of the plugin has helped him immensly when it comes to tagging articles.

I have noticed, however, if you reduce the amount of plugins you use – we use about 20, down to just 4 or 5 plugins, the Simple Tags plugin will auto tag then, which is very weird.
