[Plugin: Simple Real Estate Pack] Error: reached max number of calls for today

One of your API services reaches it’s daily limit. Have you asked Yelp to increase your API limit when you initially installed the plugin? Yelp’s API calls are limited to 100 a day – you have to contact them to increase it to 10,000. They do it on purpose to see who is using their API. Read second paragraphs (there is an email address too) https://www.yelp.com/developers/getting_started

Thanks for the response. Your Plugin is AWESOME! I looked into the API Terms for Zillow’s Mortgage Calculator and it limits 1000 calls per day. This is the culprit I believe. Now I just have to track down who to contact over there to make the request to increase it.

Sure thing. My plan is to launch the site first, hopefully July 1st, so they can access it, right now it’s private during development.

Then I will fill out their API call increase request formto get an upgrade. (You need to log in to your Zillow account first to get to the form.)

The text on the form reads:

I see other posts mention yelp api or zillow api, but I have neither of those.

How can I tell what api is causing the problem?

@kyborn – what type of services are you using? What data supposed to load on the page when you get the error message? For example is you expect schools to load and instead you get an error message, then I’d think that education.com API is the bottleneck. In the case of education.com – I’d have to contact them to increase the overall limit since they provided a dedicated API key for the plugin to all users.

Well… I have only Internet Explorer 9 and it doesn’t show any errors. IE9 allows to switch to earlier version modes and I did all the way to IE7, and still don’t see any errors.

Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache?

im using windows XP – it appears on IE8,IE7

Will check tomorrow in my office – I have a machine with XP and older (I think) IE there.
