[plugin: Simple Press] Paid subscribtion to expensive for just pluing download

    I was using Simple Press v 4.5 with good results. As I always strife for the most secure website, I installed v 5 of Simple Press. But it turns out that I now have to pay if I want to download plugins.

    Don’t get me wrong, I do know that the simple press developers should be supported in their work, but the all-in packages with support is just not wat I want. I just want to be able to download a WYSIWYG editor and a widget to place links to recent posts on my home page. I’m not going to pay € 32,- or € 99,- for just that!

    So please, please, please, make some system where I can download plugins without having to take a support membership. For instance a system where I can pay a small fee per download of a certain plugin. Sounds very reasonable. € 32,- just doesn’t.

  • I’m in the same situation and I fully agree. It would be much more reasonable to charge a lower price for each plugin.

    same here, this is a scam. now we need an extra plugin for every basic action that where included for free in previus versions.

    if they want to charge for plugins, they sholud make some more interesting and complex features.

    i may try re-instal the 4.4.5 version…………..i feal i have been scamed :c

    I agree completely. I upgraded and had a few bugs, however there was no support. I would pay if it was a more reasonable price, but charging just for support that ultimately is because of THEIR BUGS, is just inexcusable!
