[Plugin: Simple Page Sidebars] How to implement on Custom Child theme template?

Hi! Thanks for this great plug-in! Saves A LOT of trouble trying to accomplish this from the backend.. ??
Just wondering, if it’s possible to actually implement a custom sidebar using this plugin, if my page is using a custom template, and not the Sidebar Template?
