This would happen if the table existed before and you manually removed it. If so, remove record from the wp_options table for this option “sll_db_ver”. It stores version of the current db schema. If the record doesn’t exist – it simply creates a table. If the record exists – it checks if the table needs to be updated.

No, this is on brand new installs of WP 3.4.2.

The plugin is not creating its database tables.

It is, however, updating itself correctly on WP installations on which it was installed prior to updating to WP 3.4.2, but not installing properly on fresh sites.

Have you tried version 0.9.3? I just installed WP 3.4.2 from scratch, just to run this test. Then installed Simple Login Log 0.9.3 from WP repository and everything worked with no issues.

Ok, I have it resolved thanks.

In the end it was down to options table residue on one set of sites, and on the test install the log page in wp admin didn’t render completely until there was a recorded login, which caused it to look the same as the admin screen on the sites with the options table issue… which confused me.

All good now, thanks. Nice plugin and interface.
