[Plugin: Simple Lightbox] – Expanded functionality?

  • I realize I’m asking the opposite of what is termed “Simple Lightbox” – but I found this plugin after much searching and appreciate it’s execution.

    Two questions:

    1 – Can a slideshow of 5+ images be launched images be launched from a single thumbnail? This seems like the functionality should be there – but I either can;t find it in a dozen or so lightboxes I have looked at or it doesn’t exist.

    2 – Can I do all this from the native WP “Gallery” shortcode? (maybe by adding extra code?)

    Like I said – this is one of many plugins I have looked at. I would really like to find these answers with this plugin.
