[Plugin: Simple LDAP Login] Subscribing users in mulitsite using simple Ldap login

    I’m work for a University in Australia and we run wordpress MU which is quite old and needs upgrading. I have upgraded wordpress to 3.3.1 on our cloned test server and everything has worked well. I’m trying to use simple ldap login to replace a custom ldap login that we used in wordpress mu. I understand that the plugin settings have to be set for each individual site and I’ve done that and I’ve set it up so that a new user is created and given subscriber access if they don’t exist in the site. People can log in fine using the plugin the problem I get is when the user logs in to a site that they do not exist in as a user, instead of being subscribed to the site they are logged into another wordpress site they have access to.

    Any ideas what I can do to make this work?

  • You might take a look at the patch I posted about recently which fixes this plugin to work with multisite and single site. It allows you to specify the LDAP settings globally from the network side of things, assuming that you want all of your sites to point at a single LDAP instance.
