[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] This is what I want to do. Advice appreciated.

  • I have a very popular fan page on Facebook.

    This is what I currently have set up at the moment:

    Page Activity Feed on the right side of my Blog – Working fine

    When I post an article on the blog, it posts immediately to my FB Page – Working

    Like buttons – Working fine.

    I want to be able to:

    Post a link from a website directly to my FB Page Wall and have it update my blog automatically – is this possible?

    Comments made on articles via FB also show up in the comments of the blog post. – Pretty sure I’ve already red this isn’t possible but if you could assure me.

    Any help is appreciated

    Not with SFC. The Publish module works in the other direction though, it will let you post to the blog and have it auto post to the page wall.

    This is possible, but only for auto-published items (not manually published ones) using the SFC-Publish module.

    Thanks for the reply. Do you know if there are any plug ins that will be able to do my first issue? And would they work in conjunction with your plugin?

    Do the comments work the opposite way too? if someone comments on the article from my blog, will it show on Facebook if they are logged in as their FB account? Also what is the timescale for the blog pulling in FB comments?
