[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] SFC plugin not working

    Just installed on production site. No other plugins were installed and using TwentyEleven theme. I get the SFC settings menu item. I enter FB appliation ID and secret and save and nothing happens. All info is erased from fields. Also, there are no SFC “sub-modules” or sub-plugins listed under the SFC Plugins area, but I’m not sure if that is supposed to be like that? Perhaps it is like child themes and I’m supposed to install child plugins for SFC?

    If the info is “erased” from the fields, then it doesn’t like the data you entered. Basically, it does a check to make sure the data is correct.

    Be sure you’re entering the correct data from your FB app. The secret is 32 characters long and consists of numbers and the letters a-f. The Application ID is all numbers.

    Once you have proper values in and saved, then you’ll see the checkboxes.

    crap, I’m sorry for wasting time Otto. I realized I was putting the Secret where the App ID goes, and vice versa. Big embarrassing DUH!

    Yeah, I noticed that they were reversed now from what FB’s new screen shows. 1.1 will have them in the right order.
