[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] SFC Cannot connect User to site

  • I have Simple Facebook Connect installed on about 6 wordpress sites. I have no problems with 5 of them. I created an app as I have always done on Facebook. I use my App ID, Key, and Secret and put into the SFC settings page. Now, when I return to my wp site, I click on FB connect button and it displays a pop-up box that asks for access to your wall…but never registers the user on my site. The fb box goes away and the website is still sitting on the home page waiting for you to login, register or click on fb connect.

    New version seems to be working fine. (facebook activity works perfect – better then before). Any ideas when we will have the facebook connect option again? It was working perfect until yesterday noon I think! After that, I ve been trying to find what was wrong!!! It was still able to connect but even after succesfull connection, it was still showing “connect with facebook” although the user was already connected.

    jmonroe, thanks for the quick response! I thought I was just doing something wrong and had been going through the code for sometime now. I can’t wait for this feature to return. I think it will help with generating more traffic and overall professional look. Thanks again!
