[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] Automatic publishing to fanpage does not work

    Dear Otto,

    first of all let me give you my thanks for all the work you’ve put into this great plugin!

    I was running Wordbooker on one of my other sites, but for a new site i was looking for a more convenient plugin, and SFP really is exactly what i was looking for.

    However, unfortunately the automatic publishing to the fanpage does not work. App ID, App Secret and fanpage ID are set correctly, and all three token checks are reporting back “green”.

    “Automatically Publish to Facebook Fan Page” is checked.

    Pressing the “Publish to fanpage” button in the article page works every time like a charm, however this may use a different mechanism as i must be logged into facebook for that.

    As the site is the homepage of a sports club, many different people are writing articles – and they are not admin on the fanpage (and should not be!) or do not even have a FB account – so the automatic publishing from wordpress is really what i need.

    Do you have any ideas or advices to sort this issue out? Can i provide any logs?

    Plugin version is 1.1, the facebook fanpage is a german one (don’t know if there is a difference).

    Automatic publishing still works fine for me. I’ll need more info to understand why it’s not working for you.

    Same here.
    Up to june, automatic publishing worked just well with my scheduled posts, then after a long pause I posted a few articles and they didn’t get published on my FB fan page.

    If there is any way I can help, please let me know.

    I have the same problem. My scheduled posts aren’t appearing on my Facebook page, because “Publish to fan page” keeps changing to Disabled.

    Sorry, my comment was meant for the official Facebook plugin. However, automatic publishing to my Facebook page doesn’t work in this plugin either.

    Same problem here, tried new facebook app, uninstall/install, and the same on profile works great on page is not working only manual.

    I have 3 completely separately-hosted, differently-themed WordPress sites, all of which have used your fabulous Simple Facebook Connect tool to auto-publish to Facebook for quite a while.

    This month, all three stopped auto-publishing to Facebook, even though all the session keys are showing green. The manual publishing feature still works just fine, and interestingly, if I post a quick “test” post, that will auto-publish. The problem seems to be specifically with scheduled posts and posts that have previously been saved as drafts.

    Might this problem have come with WordPress’s most recent version update? Any thoughts? (Help me Otto-Wan-Kenobi, you’re my only hope!)

    I’m having the exact same problem. Works perfectly when manually published, but scheduled posts do not publish to facebook fan page.

    I don’t know what more to tell you. Nothing has changed, and I use SFC myself. My posts still publish fine.

    That was an auto-published post on August 3rd. Works for me.

    With more information I might be able to debug it, but I’ll definitely need more information and at least some idea of why it isn’t working for some of you. Like, programmer-nerd level of information. Sorry.
