[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] Auto-Publish to Facebook Page

  • this is a great app! i like the ability for my readers to login with facebook to leave comments and such.
    for some reason the auto-publish to facebook isn’t working properly.
    manual publish works just fine but for some reason the auto-publish isn’t working. not sure if the is some bug between the latest wordpress and facebook. i know i can manually publish but i like the auto publish so that i can integrate the comments into my post.

    i have granted the extended permissions etcc… the three tokens are found, i have saved the settings etc…

    anyone else having this problem or know of a solution?

    We’re having the same issue. I have determined it only occurs (for us) when the post was scheduled in advance. If we manually publish a post then it does automatically send it to our fanpage. I was curious if you’re scheduling your posts as well. If that’s the case then I think we can narrow down the problem. I haven’t dug into the code yet, but I think if we can narrow down the circumstances when it occurs then it’ll make debugging the problem a little easier.

    Thanks for your reply. I’m not scheduling my posts; I always manually publish them.
    Hopefully we (or someone else) are able to resolve this issue soon.

    Not scheduling posts huh? Dang, was hoping it was the exact same issue. Are you publishing to your fb profile or to a fanpage? We’re posting to a page. I’m going to try and dig into the PlugIn code this afternoon if I get a chance. If anyone else out there is having the same issue or has any ideas on how to debug the problem please post. If I learn anything that might be relevant I’ll come back and share.

    For me the same:
    I manually publish the post and it gets published automatically on my personal FB page but NOT on the Fanpage?!

    It would be great if you’ll find the problem!
