    PEAR and PERL oAuth probably don’t work since most hosts don’t allow you to override php.ini to include files… if CURL is unable to connect to the host its likely your host did not compile Apache with CURL SSL which is required since dropbox will not accept unsecure connections or there is some kind of firewall in place that is blocking the outgoing connection. Strange you were able to authorize it in the admin though and not able to upload a file from the front end. What host are you on?
