The purchase confirmation page is handled by Paypal or Google as they actually take the final purchase and know when (if) the order is actually placed. SCABN supports using PDT with Paypal to redirect the user to a local receipt page (see function display_paypal_receipt is customize.php under your templates directory). I’m not aware of equivalent functionality for Google Wallet — I think there is a merchant setting for where they redirect to, but it doesn’t pass the purchase information.

Also keep in mind that PDT doensn’t always work as it depends on the users browser doing a redirect after some time out so if the user clicks elsewhere before the redirection, they never go back to your site.
