• For some bloody reason the plugin author felt it necessary to change the names of this plugin’s CSS IDs… which totally f’s up any custom styling created to turn things off that he feels you MUST show.

I’ll either be uninstalling it FOREVER or downgrading.

Plugin Authors: DO NOT EVER change the names you’ve used for your CSS once you’ve released a plugin.

  • I have the same problem. After upgrading I checked out my site and my login turned to crap because the CSS has been changed. It would have been nice if the author said something like:

“IMPORTANT: The CSS styles have been modified in this upgrade, you will have to make necessary adjustments to your CSS CODE to re-establish your design after you’ve upgraded. BACKUP original files before upgrading.”

What would be even better is if the author listed which CSS TAGS were changed so we wouldn’t have to go fishing for changes. I sincerely hope that the next upgrade maintains consistent CSS class/id names.
